2013 Recap

Hey everybody!

I've been so busy with the holidays I know I haven't gotten to post much. :( I thought it would be cool to take a look back at 2013 since this year has opened so many doors for me! Hope you enjoy! :)

JANUARY

Got called for an interview for an internship at Michael Kors Corporate office in Manhattan!

 

Celebrated the opening of my first clothing line!

 

FEBRUARY

 

Ombréd my hair!





Carlie taught me how to curl my hair the PROPER way! ;) Thanks girl!

 

Attended my first fashion show in Manhattan!

 

MARCH

 

Watched my brother take home a trophy for his restaurant for best pizza in town! Go Jimmy!





Celebrated St. Patty's Day with great friends!(That's a 4 leaf clover on my cheek by the way)

 

Got accepted at Michael Kors and had to get ready for a big move! Which means shopping of course!

 

APRIL

 

Died my hair back to black! Shocker..

 

Had to pack up my apartment! So sad, so many memories! But thanks to Oscar for helping!

 

 

Oscar got fixed! Yay for no more chewing things up!

 

MAY

 

Relaxed at the beach for my last month living in CT!

 

Started to pack for NYC! Which means getting together my designer jeans ;)

 

JUNE

Said goodbye to my baby! :(















 

Moved to the New Yorker Hotel and made a lot of new friends the first night!

 

Started at Michael Kors HQ!

 

Explored the city!

 

Found out a tree fell on my car during a storm back home....Boo!!



 

JULY

 

Came back to CT for a weekend for some country concerts!

 

Then came back to work in the city!

 

Walked on my first red carpet! Yay!

 

Said goodbye to the designers at MK! :( Loved them so much, and miss them a lot!







 

AUGUST

 

Definitely the worst month...

Moved back to CT to spend one last week with my Dad before he passed from cancer.

 

 

Celebrated my cousin's wedding!

 

Finally bought a new car! Black Altima coupe 3.5 SE (great purchase, I still love it!)

 

SEPTEMBER

 

Set up my desk and finally really started blogging!

 

Became a part of the Independent Fashion Bloggers and a Lucky Contributor!

 

Rode an elephant at the Big E with my girls! :)

 

OCTOBER

Created a commercial for my clothing line (which is no longer available at the moment) !























 

Attended my first fashion conference with Lucky Magazine!

 





And of course...Halloween!

NOVEMBER

 

Turned 21 on November 1st! Yay!!

 

Enjoyed Thanksgiving and then Black Friday! :)

 

Filmed my first Black Friday Haul!



 

DECEMBER

 

Got my closet ready for the cold weather!

 

Put up the Christmas tree!

 

Played with Oscar in the first snowfall of the year!

 

Finally, beat some dudes in Blackjack! ;)

 

 

 













This year I've learned that friends come and go but family is forever. Don't waste your time fighting for someone who doesn't truly deserve to be in your life. Also, dreams don't work unless you do. And if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. You won't always get what you want, but if you make the best of everything, your life will be incredible. Cherish every moment with your loved ones, because you never know when life will throw a curve ball. Most importantly, I've learned that you need to fall in love with yourself before you can let anyone else love you. And if you're in a bad relationship and are afraid to leave and be alone, just know that there will always be someone else out there waiting for a chance to meet you. I know that this year had been bittersweet for me. I've had the most opportunities in my entire life thanks to all of the support I receive, and I also lost the closest man in my life. I'm ready to see what 2014 has to offer, because I really think it's going to be a great year. Enjoy the new year and have a safe and fun celebration! Stay tuned for my next post on resolutions and how to stick to them! :)

16 Things You May or May Not Know About Me

Hello everyone!

I've been getting a lot of new followers lately, and I figured to go along with my last post Would You Rather Tag , this would be a great way for you all to get to know me! Kenzie gave me the number 16, so I hope you enjoy these random facts!

1.) I love fashion but I'm actually going to school for business management.

2.) I am the pickiest eater you will ever meet, but I'm trying to change that!

3.) I have so many clothes in my closet, I let my friends come shopping every couple of months. In fact, I have too many clothes that I had to turn a separate room into my walk in closet!

This is not even all of my clothes. I also have dressers and clothing racks full of clothes. Eek!

4.) My biggest fear are ghosts. I don't know if they're real or not, but I do NOT want to find out! I can't watch scary movies.

5.) I have an older sister Nikki, two older brothers Joe and Jim, a brother-in-law named Keith, my mom Laura, and my Dad who recently passed away Don. Anyone who knows me, knows that I would always put family first. We are super close!

6.) I've lived in 4 different cities since I graduated high school (4 years ago).

7.) I hope to move to LA within the next couple of years to pursue my dream in fashion.

8.) I'm always on my @JennaLeeAnnLLC Twitter account, I love talking to you all! (Yay for reaching almost 6,000 followers!)

9.) My biggest dream is to motivate people to follow their dreams and encourage people to stop sitting around thinking success will come to them (unless you're Paris Hilton).

10.) I naturally have blonde hair. I've been dying it dark since high school.

11.) I am the definition of a shopaholic. Whenever I'm upset, I shop. It's bad, I know. :(

12.) I'm mostly Italian, but have about 10% of Polish in me.

13.) My favorite TV show was The Hills. So sad it's been over. :( Lauren Conrad is my fashion idol.

14.) I have OCD in weird ways. Example: I hate when teachers erase the board and don't erase every mark.

15.) I've traveled a lot, but have never been to the other side of the world (Europe, etc,).

16.) I have the cutest puppy in the world, Oscar. He's a mini long haired dachshund!

Black Friday Haul! xo

So if you follow my Twitter or Facebook page you would know I've been wanting to make a video of some of the outfits I got on Black Friday. These are only a couple because as much as I wish you all wanted to watch me wear different outfits, I didn't want it to get boring! Would You Rather TAG

 

{one} Would you rather eat at a fancy restaurant or eat a good home-cooked meal? I would probably prefer a fancy restaurant, only because I would love to dress up, and I love date nights. :)

{two} Would you rather go on a road trip to a big city or go to the country? I was actually just talking to my friend about visiting Nashville since I came from a small town full of farms, however, the city will always have my heart. So I will have to go with the city!

{three} Would you rather receive $100 a day or $100,000 right now? I would say $100 a day because I'm pretty good at saving in time, however, if I got a lot of money at once, I would find something to spend it on!

{four} Would you rather it be summer all year round or winter? Summer! If you know me you know I hate the cold so much! Though if Fall were an option, that would be my choice 100%. ;)

{five} Would you rather watch TV or listen to music? Definitely listen to music. I grew up playing piano, and something about playing, or listening to music, just calms me.
