End of Journey: NYC and Michael Kors

Hi all!

     Today was my last day at Michael Kors. Boy did the time fly! It was so upsetting to leave my co-workers because they have helped me since day one of this journey. I can't recommend this internship enough to those of you students in the fashion industry. They truly treat you equally, not as slaves. They always make sure you're getting the best out of the internship. I have learned so much by working there just 2 months!

     I can't believe that I'm moving back home on Sunday. This summer in NYC was the best experience in my life. Witnessing new and unique trends on the streets of Manhattan, seeing a bunch of fashion icons, and of course the shopping. I can't wait until I move back to this concrete jungle, where my dreams are made of (as Alicia Keys would say).

Update: NYC and Michael Kors

Hi everyone!

     I know I said that once I moved to NYC I would be blogging a lot more, but I had no idea how busy I would be. It's very hard to find time to write a blog around here! Luckily, I have gained a lot of motivation and I will be blogging a few times a week when I move back home. Working for Michael Kors has been quite the experience. I love it there so much, and I'm excited to continue working there for the next month. I have gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration that I can use for www.jennaleeann.com. Everybody who works there is so nice and helpful, they really are teaching me a lot about working in a big corporate building!

     Living in mid-town Manhattan is an amazing experience as well. I love seeing all of the unique style on the streets as well as the fashionable outfits in the office. It's exciting to see all of the different styles out there because growing up in CT did not give me as much exposure to chic fashion. I've learned a lot about fashion trends and trend forecasting, I can't wait to learn more! This really is the city that never sleeps, so if you plan on moving here anytime soon, be prepared!

     I will give a more in-depth overview of my stay here within the next month. I can't wait to share with you all my overall experience. As for now, I'm loving it here and I always knew I belonged in the city! By the way, starting Fall 2013, www.jennaleeann.com will be extremely active in social media, as well as bringing out new styles every month! Stay updated through this blog!
