It’s time for the 2019 recap… I have been posting a recap annually since 2013. Holy crap!! It’s so fun to look back and see the highlights of each year. Well- it’s been a hell of a year! Between engagement, fun vacations and growing my boutique, I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite years.

JANUARY

This month I just focused on myself, my blog and my store. Endless hours doing research and photoshoots!

FEBRUARY

February was full of celebrations! I got to celebrate my best friend’s birthday in NYC (Chris and I surprised her in the city while she was there with her boyfriend). I also got to celebrate my nephew Jake’s birthday! LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS!

MARCH

More work on my boutique! This month I was getting in all of my Spring arrivals and loading up on content for social media.

APRIL

Chris and I took a cruise to Bermuda and April and boy was it a good week. There’s nothing better than enjoying a relaxing weekend and endless food with your best friend.

MAY

One out of two trips to New Hampshire this year! The other one was later in the Summer and I don’t have pictures because I was busy getting stung by a hive of bees!!! Awful. This trip was fun though! We spend a weekend with Chris’ family for Memorial Day!

JUNE

June consisted of celebrating Chris’ birthday (we went to see Impractical Jokers live and spend the say in Mystic). We also took a trip to Myrtle Beach with Chris’ family! Missing that sunshine right about now…

JULY

I’m really missing Summer after looking at all of these photos… Every year I celebrate 4th of July at my mom’s beach house with my friends and family! Chris and I also took a trip to Block Island with my family! Always a fun time.

AUGUST

I worked a lot this month doing pop up shops and trying to grow my online presence for my boutique. No fun to share, but fun for me! Here’s a picture of Chris and I at Treehouse brewery which we went to in August after a day trip to North Hampton!

SEPTEMBER

My mom and I went on a buying trip to NYC for my boutique! Such a fun day. Mom always knows best, too. She helped me pick a lot of the styles that sold out! Thanks, Mom! I also was entered into a contest for best Fall styled outfit with some other great CT fashion bloggers. I ended up winning thanks to all of your votes! Woo woo!

October

This month was the best month for a couple of reasons. #1 - my nephew Jordy was born! HE’S SO CUTE. #2 - I GOT ENGAGED! Wedding planning fully began right after and I can’t wait to marry my best friend on October 11, 2020!

NOVEMBER

Celebrated my birthday with my friends and enjoyed a great Thanksgiving celebration with my family! November was full of laughs and memories!

DECEMBER

End of November and into December, my family and I went on a trip to Vermont! That’s where we got the cute picture of us in the flannel pj’s. Love them! I also said yes to the dress at Michele Bridal Boutique in Westbrook, CT. To end the year off I celebrated Christmas with both mine and Chris’ family!

 

It has been an amazing year and I got everything I could’ve asked for. I’m so thankful to have such amazing people in my life. I cannot WAIT for 2020. I hope to see my boutique continue to grow, I can’t wait to marry my best friend and I’m looking forward to all of the new memories to come!
