2014 Spring Trends

Spring is right around the corner, yay! This means it’s time for my updated Spring Trend blog post! It’s funny to look back at my old Spring Trends post and seeing how far my blog has come! (Check the old post out here). Thank you to everyone who has been reading and supporting my blog! <3

So let’s get to it…

Clothing

1.) Pastels. This trend has been seen coming for a while, and I’m loving it! Pastels are perfect for Spring. Naya Rivera quotes “I’m all about Spring’s softer color palette.”. You can pair a pastel blouse with a different color pastel skirt. Or to create an edgy look, you can pair a pastel dress with a cropped leather jacket! Can’t wait to try out different styles with this trend.

2.) Cream & White. Kristen Cavallari says “All-white looks so clean and fresh!”. She is right, and it also can create a nice romantic look!

3.) Skirts. But not just any skirts…Pleated, side-sllit, and full skirts are taking over this season! You can create so many outfits with skirts so my advice is to stock up, because I’m marking this trend as a wardrobe essential!

Makeup & Hair

4.) Tousled Hair. I think this is my favorite trend on this list. The waves and tousled look is so long overdue as a trend. I guarantee this trend will carry over into Summer too! You can never go wrong with this look.

5.) Blue Eye Makeup. I have seen this on ALL of the celebs. Everyone’s rocking the blue eyeliner or blue eyeshadow to line the eyes. It’s such a gorgeous look and a great way to add color!

Accessories & Nails

6.) White Nails. Looking to create a romantic look? White nails are perfect. They are making their debut all over this season. Let’s be honest, you can never go wrong with this trend.

7.) Modern Chokers. Okay so I said tousled hair was my favorite trend, but this trend is tied for first. I love chokers and I couldn’t be more excited that they’re back in the top trends! Modern chokers can be added to most any outfit, and it just builds up the look. Go out and get a bunch, because adding this accessory to your outfit will make it complete!
